AUGUST 11 2009 - THE MORAL INSTINCT (PART 4)

MORAL INSTINCT THEORY- SEVEN VALUES FOR HUMANITY'S SURVIVAL

As for you both describing yourselves, 34&rising & Jose, as "Liberal Socialists" - may you be very happy together.

As for me, I'm with Orwell - a "Democratic Socialist" - but I'm not an "Orwellite". I'm a "Democratic Socialist With An Anarchic/Independent Streak"...who believes - like Tielhard de Chardin - that we are Spiritual Beings having human experiences, rather than Human Beings having spiritual experiences.

In other words, I haven't really worked out who the hell I am yet - even after 55 years of hurtling around a ball of fire, in the middle of a space somewhere, on the crust of a large rock.

The greatest fear is the fear of the 'unknown'.

If we didn't fear the unknown, we would probably kill ourselves at the drop of a hat.

There is also the fear of punishment. If there was no punishment, people would go about killing each other simply because they wanted to, or for financial gain... or economic gain... or political gain...

oh,

'Mega' Theory - The Moral Instinct - can be applied to Politics :

This 'Moral Sense' to human affairs can be called 'The 7th Sense' of Values

7 Senses :

1. Sight
2. Hearing
3. Smell
4. Touch
5. Taste
6. Intuition eg "The Sixth Sense" Film
7. Values eg "The Seventh Sense" (aka "The Moral Sense", or "The Moral Instinct") - Beauty, Freedom, Happiness, Life, Love, Peace, Truth.

If these 7 senses are applied to Politics, and represented by the 7 Colours of the Rainbow, we have this :

1. Red - Labour Party
2. Orange - UKIP, Democrat, BNP ?!
3. Yellow - Liberal Democrat Party
4. Green - Green Party
5. Blue (Light Blue) - Conservative Party
6. Indigo (Dark Blue) - Tory Party
7. Violet (Purple) - Independent - "Purple Politics".

So, just as the Green Party uses the colour Green to represent Environmental Values, we can have an Independent (such as myself) using the colour Purple to represent Moral Values...."Purple (Moral) Politics". Why not ?

This would embrace the idea that all people - especially in the world of politics (& beyond) - are using their 'Mega (Moral) Instinct', or 'Moral (Common?) Sense'...whether aware of it or not (just as we are unaware of the air we breathe when using language, etc)...

Just a few thoughts thinking out loud...what do others think ?

"Master Puppeteers" spend billions to control the independence of Humanity's Moral Instinct - the greatest ever collective threat to their power.

WAR AGAINST THE MORAL INSTINCT ?

"In Protocol II of the Protocols of Zion we read: "Through the press we have gained the power to influence while remaining ourselves in the shade." Protocol VII states that:

‘We must compel the government of the Goyim to take action in the direction favoured by our widely conceived plan, already approaching the desired consummation, by what we shall represent as public opinion, secretly prompted by us through the means of that so-called Great Power – the Press, which with a few exceptions that may be disregarded, is already in our hands.’

The Khazar Jew-controlled Hollywood film industry sends out a constant stream of..."

-THE BATTLE FOR THE MIND - INCLUDING THE MORAL MIND

It is my contention that certain 'powers-that-be' (aka Master Puppeteers ? Big Brother?) are consciously attempting to destroy our Moral Instinct - our Collective Moral Conscience, if you like.

Our Collective Moral Instinct (our Humanity ?) are the greatest of all threats to their power & control.

Philosophically, I call it a conflict between Moral Relativism & Moral Realism.

Could it be called the 'War between Right & Wrong' - Good v Evil ?

It is also my contention that this Moral Instinct is an intuitive, collective sense - a 7th sense if you will - independently transcendent of (but also independently immanent within) humanity's own unique genetic and environmental make-up.

This 7th Sense can intuitively discern Right from Wrong, Good from Evil, Truth from Lies, Peace from War, Beauty from Ugliness, Love from Hate, Happiness from Misery, Freedom from Slavery...

So is it any wonder this Moral Sense is such a threat to those who have power over us, and control us ?

They want to kill it dead - but as they can't, it must be 'atomised', strictly controlled and kept in check...through propaganda, fear, terror, pleasures (including sex), distraction masquerading as TV entertainment & sport, etc

"Don't let it happen. It depends on you" (Orwell's last-known published words)

Using drugs to control people for instance ?

(See: 'Brave New World' - SOMA).

Is it not surprising that the UK and the US are fighting in Afghanistan - one of the largest growers of opium poppies!

Why are our troops not destroying those poppy fields run by the Taliban?

Could it be that our governments are quite happy to allow massive quantities of opium and heroin to enter the US and Europe?

Could it be that our government is actually receiving substantial revenue from illegal drug imports and drug-dealing in the UK?
