IT LOOKS AS THOUGH GEORGE ORWELL WAS RIGHT AFTER ALL
In his nightmare scenario, detailed in 'Nineteen Eighty-Four', George Orwell imagined 3 Super-States :
1. OCEANIA (eg US & UK et al)
2. EURASIA (eg EU & Russia et al - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/6594379.stm)
3. EASTASIA (eg China et al)
To my mind, the US 'Master-Puppeteers' (OCEANIA) read (and re-read) Orwell's masterpiece - but didn't like the idea of sharing power with EURASIA or EASTASIA. They wanted it all.
(that insane 'one global superstate' idea appears to have been unthinkable & unimaginable to Orwell)
'Project for the New American Century' (PNAC) & 'Full Spectrum Dominance/Pre-Emptive Nuclear Strikes' were the Master-Plans for the American Empire to gain global control...the United Nations was seen as a threat, and discredited. But it's all falling apart at the seams for the US-controlled 'Oceania' - and its wheels are falling off all over the world.
A US-led 'World Government' - made up of Bankers ('Freedom Is Slavery')(eg Federal Reserve), War-Makers ('War Is Peace')(eg Neo-Cons) and PR Media Persuaders ('Ignorance Is Strength')(eg Murdoch) - ain't going to happen. The game's up and the party's over.
It looks as though George Orwell was right after all - his 'nightmare' idea of 3 superstates appears now to be developing - the seeds of which he saw in 1948.
The sooner all countries are prepared to come under the control of the United Nations - with its 1946 Universal Declaration et al - the better for Humanity....which is on the brink of an abyss to which it must pull back - and fast.
